a person's small details are usually considered as important and significant fragments of its unique individuality. our socio-cultural-economic class, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity and even faith plays a role on the gestures we have. through this video, i tried divide individuals in to smaller fragments just like spelling a word in letters; and by spelling individuals, i try to alienate the audience towards their own corporeality. from this alienation a question rises: "if not the details, then what is 'self' made of?"
"ben lik "(self) is an experimental short movie, which was shot for middle east technical university psychology days II (2010). the theme of the conference was "culture and self".
