in this found footage video, i tried to emphasize the absurdity of american cold-war propaganda movies by deconstructing the movie entitled “duck and cover” (1952). during cold-war many similar movies were shown to children at school in order to create fear.

theme song and the images are taken from "duck and cover". other sounds are recorded from a toy that i circuit bended.

the video was displayed in a group exhibition “ikametgah kadıköy 2” (2012; Istanbul, Turkey).
