no one is born as a woman or as a man. concepts like these are ideologically constructed through devices like media, education system, movies, best sellers, religion, family, health care system, fashion and so on. these closed bordered definitions are both a limitation to our identities and is an organisation attempt to our everyday life.
in this audio visual track we tried to distort, disturb, noise, pixelate and glitch the learned image of woman by using some hollywood footage.
"whether gay or nay and skinny redhead" is an audio visual ideology blending project, consist of batuhan akkaya and onur çiftci.
